“My Father in heaven, God himself, let you in on this secret of who I really am. And now I’m going to tell you who you are, really are. You are Peter, a rock. This is the rock on which I will put together my church, a church so expansive with energy that not even the gates of hell will be able to keep it out.“And that’s not all. You will have complete and free access to God’s kingdom, keys to open any and every door: no more barriers between heaven and earth, earth and heaven. A yes on earth is yes in heaven. A no on earth is no in heaven.”

He Is Building Up His Church
From the scripture above, it says that Jesus spoke to Peter, not to John! His church is not merely a building, but His people. For His church, He gives you “The Key”.
The key/the access is talking about:
1. Security
The key is to lock and to unlock the door’s house. With lock and unlock, potentially there is no security at all in the house, the thief will come and go freely to steal, destroy and kill everything that you have, naturally or spiritually
2. Maturity
Person who holds the keys is a mature person. The kids don’t have any keys by all means, they could be careless and lost the keys, only mature person has the key and know how to use it and keep it all the keys with them self.
3. Authority
Person who holds the key, is trusted and responsible fully with it. All access to open or to lock is under his respond – ability.
